Learn to make a halo effect in Photoshop CS.

Step 1

Open an image.

Step 2

Select the Magic Wand tool from the toolbar and select the background. See the below image after selection

Step 3

No go to Select>Modify>Smooth from the menu. Give a smoothness from 2 to 4.

Step 4

Next click on Filter>Artistic>Neon Glow, the neon glow window appears like the one below.

Give the settings till your glow looks fine and click OK.

Step 5

Here's the result! An image with a halo effect.
