to change a summer scenery to a winter scene. Let us see how
to give an icy look to an image in Photoshop CS.

Step 1
Open a photograph. Here we used a scenery. If you use a different
picture, the effect will be different.
Step 2

Duplicate the layer from layer panel. You can see two layers
in the layers panel. Continue following steps with the top
layer selected.
Step 3
Go to Image>Rotate Canvas>90 CW. Then
click on Filter>Stylize>Wind. The Wind
window appears like the one given below.
Step 4
Make the settings as in the snapshot and click OK.

Step 5
Then rotate back to normal, click on Image>Rotate
Canvas>90 CCW.
Step 6
Click on Image>Adjustments>Hue/saturation.
The Hue saturation window appears. give these values, but
you can also give different values and try out.
Hue - +180, Saturation -+30, Lightness - +25
Step 7
Click on Filter>Artistic>Plastic Wrap.
The Plastic Wrap window opens as in the screenshot below,
make the settings and click OK.
